Synopsis: In 1955 Airfix announced the release of its first 1:32 scale kit of a model car, a 1911 Rolls Royce; the start of a range of historic vehicles. This range was expanded to seven vehicles by 1959. In 1971 Airfix released their huge 1:12 scale kit of a 1934 4.5 Litre Bentley.
